Discover excellence in healthcare at the University of Cebu Medical Center (UCMed), a state-of-the-art 300-bed tertiary facility established on May 1, 2015. UCMed is dedicated to delivering quality, affordable, and patient-centered healthcare in the Visayas region. In July 2018, UCMed proudly opened the first outpatient Blood and Marrow Transplantation (BMT) Center in Visayas and Mindanao, making hematopoietic stem cell transplantation accessible to Filipinos in Southern part of the Philippines.

Our BMT Center offers comprehensive services, including pre-transplant consultations, recipient eligibility screening, and donor matching. After stem cell infusion from our trusted HSCT partner institutions in Manila, we provide exceptional post-transplant and long-term follow-up care. Since the launch of our BMT Center, numerous patients with hematologic disorders have successfully undergone autologous and allogeneic stem cell transplantation as consolidation therapy.
