Dr. Honorita G. Baylon

Dr. Baylon is a Hematologist and Medical Oncologist/Blood and Marrow Transplant physician. She graduated from the College of Medicine of University of the Philippines (UP) and received her residency training in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Hematology at the UP-Philippine General Hospital (PGH) Medical Center. She also took fellowship in Hematology at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney, Australia. She further had her Clinical Fellowship in Blood and Marrow Transplantation at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, Washington, USA. She obtained her Master in Hospital Administration at the Ateneo Graduate School of Business.

She pioneered hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) in the Philippines with the first allogeneic HSCT done at the National Kidney and Transplant Institute (NKTI) in 1990.

Dr. Francisco Vicente Lopez

Dr. Lopez is a Hematologist and Medical Oncologist/Blood and Marrow Transplant physician. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas. He finished his residency training in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at The Miriam Hospital, Brown University School of Medicine. He then went on to complete his training in Bone Marrow Transplantation at the City of Hope National Medical Center in Duarte, California.

He is currently the Head of the Stem Cell Center and the Section Head of Hematology of St. Luke’s Medical Center- Bonifacio Global City. He is likewise the Co-director of the Cellular Therapeutics Center and Head of the Blood and Marrow Transplant Unit of Makati Medical Center. He is also an active staff of Asian Hospital and Medical Center.

Dr. Maria Luz del Rosario

Dr. del Rosario is a Pediatric Hematologist and Oncologist/Blood and Marrow Transplant physician. She is a graduate of the University of the Philippines College of Medicine. She trained in Pediatrics at both the UP-Philippine General Hospital and North Carolina Baptist Hospital. This was followed by further training in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology and Blood and Marrow Transplantation at the University of Florida Health Science Center in Gainesville, Florida.

Since returning to the Philippines, she has participated in performance several "firsts" in bone marrow transplantation in the country, such as pediatric transplant for severe combined immune deficiency syndrome, umbilical cord blood transplant for relapsed childhood acute myelogenous leukemia, and matched unrelated transplantation for relapsed leukemia.

Dr. Lynn Bonifacio

Dr. Bonifacio is a Hematologist/Blood and Marrow Transplant physician. She graduated from the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery and had her residency training in Internal Medicine at the National Kidney and Transplant Institute. She took up Fellowship in Hematology at UP-PGH. She further had her Clinical Fellowship in Blood and Marrow Transplantation at the University Hospital Leipzig, in Germany.

She is currently a Medical Specialist I consultant under the Section of Hematology of the Department of Internal Medicine at the National Kidney and Transplant Institute and also at the UP-Philippine General Hospital. She is a Clinical Associate Professor at the College of Medicine of University of the Philippines.

Dr. Allan Robert Racho

Dr. Racho is a Pediatric Hematologist and Oncologist/Blood and Marrow Transplant physician. Dr. Racho had his Residency Training in Pediatric Medicine and Fellowship in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at the Philippine Children’s Medical Center. He also trained in Clinical Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, USA.

He is currently the Section Chief of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Quezon City and in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. He is also a member of the Blood and Marrow and Transplant Team in both institutions.

Dr. Carmella Lou Bingcang

Dr. Bingcang is a Hematologist/Blood and Marrow Transplant physician. She received her medical degree from the West Visayas State University College of Medicine in Iloilo City and her Internship credentials at the St. Luke’s Medical Center Quezon City. She had her Internal Medicine Residency Training from The Doctors’ Hospital. Dr. Bingcang had her Fellowship Training in Adult Hematology at the St. Luke’s Medical Center Quezon City, followed by a Visiting MD training in Hematopoietic Stem Cell (Blood and Marrow) Transplantation at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle, U.S.A.

After this she returned to Manila to become a member of the Blood and Marrow Transplant Team of the St. Luke’s Medical Center Quezon City and St. Luke’s Medical Center Global City.

Dr. Roxan Perez

Dr. Perez is a Hematologist/Blood and Marrow Transplant physician. She is a product alumna of the same institution after finishing Doctor in Medicine and Residency in Internal Medicine. She took her Fellowship training in Adult Hematology at the University of the Philippines - Philippine General Hospital and had further training in Blood and Marrow Transplantation & Cryopreservation at St. Vincent's Hospital in Sydney, Australia.

She is currently an Active consultant and Assistant Professor at FEU-NRMF Hospital. She's currently affiliated at National Kidney and Transplant Institute, Capitol Medical Center, Dr. Jose N. Rodriguez Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Beatrice Tiangco

Dr. Tiangco has clinical practices in both Medical Oncology and Malignant Hematology. She received her Medical Degree, her Internship credentials and had her Residency Training from UP College of Medicine and the UP-Philippine General Hospital. Dr. Tiangco had her Fellowship Training in Medical Oncology and Hematology at the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute, followed by a Fellowship in Blood Banking, Transfusion and Coagulation Medicine at the Institute for Transfusion Medicine.

After this she returned to Manila under the Balik Scientist Program of the Department of Science and Technology, hoping to be able to contribute to the initiation of Hematopoietic Transplants in this country. She then went for her Master of Science in Clinical Epidemiology at the University of the Philippines.

Dr. Alma Calavera

Dr. Calavera is a a Hematologist/Blood and Marrow Transplant physician. She finished residency and appointed Chief Resident at UERMMMCI. She finished Hematology fellowship at PGH 2012. 2013-2014. She trained at Chang Gung Medical Center for Bone Marrow Transplant.

She's currently Asst. professor at UERMMMCI college of Medicine and an active consultant at UERMMMCI, The Medical City and VRP medical center.
